DIRECTOR'S MEETING

July 12, 1967

The meeting was called to order by the new president, Professor F. R. Brison.

A decision was made to pay Leonard Nut Company for the pecans that they shipped to the Pecan Bowl in December 1966.

Tabb Harrell and J. B. Storey were appointed to study the anticipated public appearances of the queen during the 1967-68 year. From this study a policy will be developed.

The mid-winter meeting will be sometime after January 10, 1968, in Austin.

Mrs. Dorothy Holland and Johnny Harris were appointed to a committee to study combination of our two publications, the Proceedings and The Pecan Quarterly.

A budget will be submitted by the Secretary-Treasurer to all Directors as soon as possible for their study and recommendations.

Respectfully submitted,

  1. Benton Storey

Secretary-Treasurer
