Abby and Her Curious Find is a children’s book that follows Abby as she experiences pecan harvest for the first time. It is filled with beautiful scenery beginning at Abby’s home in the country as she wanders down to the big pecan orchard below her house. She witnesses colorful machinery and tractors as her daddy shows her all of the pieces that are required to harvest pecans from the tall pecan trees towering above her. By the time she is done with the tour she sees that the pecans her family is gathering have a purpose beyond just consuming pecans herself. She learns that these pecans will soon travel across the country to homes across America.
