Put it all together and mix it all up. One of the more simpler pecan recipe preparations.

Strawberry Pecan Nut Cake

Ingredients:

1 cup oil
2/3 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
3 large eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. butter extract
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. red color 1
10 oz. box chopped strawberries
1/2 cup Millican Pecan Halves
1/2 tsp. strawberry extract

Instructions:

Put all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl & beat with electric mixer for 3 minutes. Bake in a tube pan for 1 hour or a little longer; may be baked in a 9 x 13 pan for 35 minutes. Then, iced with cream cheese icing.
