Quick Cherry Cream Parfaits with Pecans

Save these cherry pecan parfaits for a warm summer night on the porch.  Quick and easy to limit the time in a hot kitchen.


  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp. Almond or Vanilla extract
  • 1 small pkg. Vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 22oz. can of cherry pie filling or 2 cups of fresh, sliced cherries
  • 1/2 cup Millican Pecan Pieces


Combine milk, sour cream & flavoring in a large mixing bowl.  Mix well.  Add pudding mix.  Beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes.  Fill parfait glasses with alternate layers of pudding, cherries/cherry pie filling & pecans.  Cover with plastic wrap before refrigerating.  Before serving, top with whipped cream if desired or cherries.
